The name Pranayama means breathing in Sanskrit, and traditionally there are eight ways of practicing breathing. The world changes so rapidly out of our imagination, we thus reach and seek alternative ways to suit the new normal. The artist seems to remind us of the importance of inner oneself, and through the practice of pranayama of stabilizing our thought. Through the works, the artist creates a series of experimental monotype printmaking as if painting, but on leather split hide, and having the digital halftone in layers, giving a touch of the color imagery while practicing on pranayama.
