Repercussion is characterized by a proud interest in personal history, based on the similarities of previous hometown and current study abroad environment. This series of oil paintings on transparent surfaces in order to directly response to the surrounding with the integration of both front and back light sources. When illuminated, light bounces back and forth, obscuring the atmosphere in a way from impression to abstraction. Sunshine and good weather with natural light source certainly caused great impact to the artist herself; with flora set up around the entire space, and the historic architecture surrounds each other as if they echo, Repercussion is intended to embrace all these intriguing elements into its frame, to keep and secure the memories, and to work like a transparent Pandora box that will never reveal again.
